Saturday we got to have a Baby Shower for Allison at the Biter's house. Allison's little girl is due at the end of March. It was so nice to be together with my high school friends and their moms. (Mrs. Waters, me, my Mom, Mrs. Davis, Allison, Mrs. Biter, Carrie, Becky, and Mrs. Dockter). In the background you can see the cute clothesline of baby outfits that Carrie and Mrs. Biter had hanging up as a decoration and a gift for Allison.
*Becky, Allison (still tiny--doesn't look like she is having a baby in 1 month!!), Megan, & Carrie*one of the cutest gifts that Allison got was a sweet little hat with a big flower on it--check them out at: http://www.jamieraehats.com/
The Biter's house was set up so perfectly for the shower. Everything looked really pretty.
We played a game (thanks for telling me about it Pattie) where everyone gets an ice cube with a plastic baby frozen inside it--then while everyone is standing around talking--the first person to notice that their ice cube has melted shouts out "my water broke" and they win a prize!!!
The brunch table was gorgeous. I loved how she had the little silver cups hanging from the chandelier and the pink, fluffy, feather wreath in the background. On the menu was: chicken salad in phyllo cups, pimento cheese sandwiches, strawberry/pecan salad, zesty lemon shrimp, mozzarella/tomato/basil skewers, cheese straws, spinach dip, olive spread, cheese ball, and for dessert--delicious cupcakes from a place in Roswell called "Cakes by Darcy" http://www.cakesbydarcy.com/

Brandon and I got to meet my Mom for dinner on Saturday night at Houston's. YUM-- Houston's is one of my all time favorite restaurants. I love everything they serve. It sounds crazy--but my very favorite thing is their Veggie Burger. I am not a vegetarian or anything--I really don't even like veggie burgers anywhere else--but there is something about theirs dipped in their delicious honey mustard-- If you haven't had it, trust me--you have to try it!!!
