Spring Has Sprung

Spring is here!! Here is Milla picking some flowers and loving all the colors. You will notice an on going theme throughout this blog..... Milla's Care Bear's T-Shirt!! She picks it out to wear most days...we have to wash it over and over again!! When I pick out something for her to wear she usually cries out.....NO.....T-Shirt....Please Mommy...T-Shirt!!!
Daffodils and Forsythias
Faith's view as we sat and watched Milla throw rocks and Hank swim as we soaked up the beautiful weather this weekend!
What a workout!!! We hiked up Suwanee Mountain and for a LONG way Brandon carried Faith in the carrier and Milla on his shoulders!!!
First Pubic Bathroom experience for Milla...it is very random that we have a picture of this--but, she was so excited and proud of herself that I had to try to snap a picture to remember the fun!!! Milla is potty trained at home--but, until now she had been wearing pull ups when we go out. Wearing underwear out is a new experience---because when a toddler has to go---they have to go-- there is no waiting. You have to be aware of all surrounding bathrooms!! It can be interesting trying to figure out how to hold Faith and assist Milla!!! It is a learning process!!

Fridays and Saturdays

We enjoyed a day with Allison and Gracie....they drove up to visit us and we got to catch up, take a walk, sidewalk chalk on the driveway, and investigate down by the lake
Milla and Gracie picking flowers on their walk
tossing rocks in the lake---(it was quite a sight to see...trying to keep 2 toddlers safe on slippery rocks next to the lake---Allison pregnant-- and Me with Faith in the Baby Bjorn!!)
Allison (expecting a baby girl in June!!), Faith and me
People are right--- Having babies does change your life--your weekends play out a little bit differently---and I love it---this is how we have been spending many Friday nights--- sitting on the porch, Faith in the swing, Milla playing with toys on the deck, and Brandon playing the guitar!
When I got home from work the other night I put Faith in the carrier for a little bit-- Milla likes to give everything a try too---so, she took a turn!!!
I had a Birthday last month and had a fantastic day with my Mom, Milla and Faith!!
We ate lunch a delicious deli called BB's Bagels www.bbsbagels.net
Yum-- if you are craving chicken salad on a bagel this is the place to go. It is located off exit 12 on 400. They have what they say are "authentic NY style bagels" and a huge variety of cream cheeses to choose from with "Kit Kat" being on of the flavors!!
Milla got to go to her friend Addison's "Princess Party"....they got their nails painted, decorated wands, got tiaras and colored hair extensions, and ate a "royal feast"
Milla and Elise showing off their painted nails!! ...Milla chose blue!
Of course after singing "The Wheels On the Bus" over and over again....kids grow fond of buses. Milla has been dreaming about riding a bus someday-- we thought the next best thing was Marta. So, one Saturday night we drove down to Dunwoody and took a short Marta train trip to Buckhead--then turned around and rode back. Marta was packed! We could barely get a seat. Faith was in my lap and Milla was in Brandon's. A lady jumped on and sat down by Brandon and Milla--- Milla looked at her and said " I Milla. This my baby sister Faith (sounds like FayF). This my Daddy Brandon, This my Mommy Megan. What your name?" luckily she was kind and answered back "Miriam"!!!
we got to visit the Inmans while we were in Dunwoody and meet their newest addition....Lukas Michael!!! Here he is in his proud momma's arms!! (don't know why this is blue and underlined--can't get it to turn off!)
Will and Milla..... being constantly surrounded by "girl stuff" at our house--Milla was appreciative that Will shared his fun "boy stuff"
