"Let's Hear It For The Boy"

Milla and Faith were so happy to
announce that they are both going to be
big sisters! We have dreamed and hoped for
3 children....so we are thrilled that it
will become a reality April of 2014!!
*PRECIOUS PROFILE*
We were set to find out the gender on Nov 14th...
There are 6 of us pregnant at the same time
where I work...and several of them had gone
to a place called "First Impressions"....
www.firstimpressions3d.com which is a
3D ultrasound office
and they have a special that you can go
just for a gender reveal for $35.  Although
we wanted to be frugal and save $35...
we wanted to know more about the baby
on the way--So Brandon, Milla, Faith,
and I (even Hank came and waited in the back
of the car) went!!!
When asked what they thought the baby was---
Milla said "a BOY"  and Faith said "a BABY!"
So, they were both right!!!
IT'S A BABY BOY!!!
We are excited and can't wait to meet
this little guy!!
Besides me-- he has 2 little mommies
waiting to take care of him!!
(the pictures are from our official Dr.visit
were they also confirmed the gender)
We got to tell our families by sending
a text that played:
"Let's hear it for the boy
let's give the boy a hand--
let's hear it for my baby--
you know you gotta understand"

Sweet Little Hand....
his little thumb is there--but hiding in this
picture of these 4 adorable fingers!
Looking forward to holding this hand
SPRING 2014!!!

On October 22, 2013 Brandon's Grandmother
(his Mom's Mom) took the hand of Jesus
and went to her eternal home.
 Granddaddy and Grandmother just
celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary
in September!!!

Grandmother was known for her cooking
and baking.  She was famous for her
cake, squash casserole and biscuits & gravy.
Here is a cute one on Grandmother and
Mrs. Crim.

Grandmother made beautiful quilts--she blessed
each of her 3 great granddaughters with
these pretty quilts that they brought with them
to her funeral.
The night before her burial a Memorial
Service was held for her at their church in
Rome, Ga.  It was an awesome experience.
You could truly feel the presence of the Lord
in the room.  Although Granddaddy missed her
terribly-- he put his sorrow to the side and he made
the whole night about praising Jesus and bringing Him
glory.  The songs were joyful and uplifting-- celebrating
the fact that his bride was in Heaven with her Savior!
There was a full choir there singing songs like
"I'll Fly Away" and "We'll Be Happy Over There"....
we all sang and clapped--- Granddaddy lifted
his hands the whole time and even danced!
At the graveside service they sang
a capella "Victory In Jesus"....
one of the lines says
"I heard about a mansion
He has built for me in Glory.
And I heard about the streets of gold
beyond the crystal sea,
About the angels singing
and the old redemption story
and some sweet day I'll sing up there
The song of Victory."
