Donna Rae Garner

Donna Rae Garner
9/4/37 - 6/28/14
We sadly said goodbye to Brandon's
step Grandmother.  She was married
to Brandon's grandpa "Big Daddy" before
he passed away.  We lived next door to her
at the lake for many years. She had been
a registered nurse and mother of 3 girls.
She was so nurturing and a true
care-giver.  She loved to help others.
She would always encourage us in
our careers and our parenting.  She
doted over our little ones and made
everyone feel so special.
She was a GIVER!
She put others before herself.
She always had a smile to share
even in the hardest of times.
We will miss her!

Red, White and Blue

We took a road trip to Chattanooga to
visit Ben, Lana, Samuel and Lily at their
new home on Signal Mountain
for the FORTH OF JULY!!

Faith, Milla, Cole, Samuel and Lily
Posing in front of the FIREWORKS!
 "Oh Beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!
America! America!
God shed his grace on thee
And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining sea!"
Our Wonderful babysitter Ms. White
teaches all of the children the
Pledge and America the Beautiful...
it is so sweet to hear Milla and
Faith sing these words (or their
variation of them!!)...Cole will be
learning soon!
Milla and Brandon roasting a marshmallow
for smores.....the weather was incredible...
we had to borrow sweaters and jackets!
Samuel digging in to a smore
Walk 1 block and this is the view
that they get to see everyday!
Faith catching a ride with Brandon on our hike
Brandon and Milla taking a break
 Cole's first hike
We were really close to a ledge
and Brandon held his cell phone
out and took this picture of the
drop.  A little scary with 5 kiddos
with us all 4 years old and younger!

At the splash park with Milla's
friend Ashlyn (from her class) and
her siblings.  This is such a neat place to go on
a hot summer day... $2 per child and you can
play all day (since Cole was due for a nap we
only lasted about an hour-- but it was still
worth it!)
*Old Atlanta Recreation Center*
We got a visit from the Bell Family
*Jackson, Brooke, Cole, Jordan,
Milla and Faith*
 BABIES GROW SO FAST!!!
Cole has been our "little" baby....until

Now I see HOW MUCH he has grown
in 3 1/2 months!!
