Having a BLAST on BREAK

 
Had to get some use out of
their Christmas snowsuits....
so we went tubing at Scaly Mountain

They have snow tubing, ice skating, bonfire
and hot chocolate!

You grab a tube...ride the inclined
conveyor belt and head to the top

drove into Highlands, NC for dinner

Pizza at Mountain Fresh Groceries...
and the best cinnamon lattes

Cole got a mountain sign for his room for
Christmas....he keeps talking about wanting
to climb a mountain and how he is going to
howl when he gets to the top!

Brandon and Cole hiked to the top of
Sawnee Mountain (the girls and I had Bday
parties to go to) and Cole got to the top
and blew his whistle

Got to get together with my High School
friends!  It was suppose to be husbands and
kids too....but, multiple fevers (in the midst of
flu season) kept us for getting the whole crew
together...so, just the girls came to Brittany's

We lucked out with getting to see Santa!

When we called he was booked for the
season...but, we stopped by on a weekday
night and there just happened to be a
spot for a walk in! Santa talked to each
one about what they wanted and
something they could work on at home!

Gran Mum....the timing was PERFECT
with one of her Christmas gifts...
she got Milla, Faith and Cole
Snow Suits....and it snowed that day!!!
