This weekend was a wonderful weekend. I got to go to Indiana to be with family and old friends. Mom and Aunt Connie put together a baby shower brunch. It was a "Book Shower"--everyone brought their favorite children's book and wrote their words of wisdom on the inside cover of the book. There were people of all ages at the shower--so, it was fun and interesting to get so many different pieces of advice. I really liked this idea-- someone said to video tape all the Great Grandparents and Grandparents reading a book--that way your kids will have that to treasure in the years to come.

Happy 60th Birthday AUNT CONNIE!! We got to celebrate Aunt Connie's bday with a pizza party at Grandma Rhodes' house on Friday night!!!
