It's The Holiday Season

Downtown Atlanta for the CHOA
Christmas Parade....
we went to support the Caymol family
that goes to my office....
One of the sons was a
Grand Marshall in the parade...
a year ago the father and
his sons were in a terrible car accident...
one son didn't make it...
the family has shown
unwavering faith....

The Atlanta Dream Center collects gifts
all season long and then lets volunteers
deliver the presents to homes with kids
that otherwise probably won't get any
gifts.  Most of the families we got to meet
were large families packed into small spaces.
One family had 8 children and 2 parents
in a 2 bedroom townhouse. A common prayer
request that almost every family shared
was needing prayer for strength and health.
They seemed very overwhelmed....
but, so grateful.
The Atlanta Dream Center stays in
contact with these families throughout
the year--going daily or weekly into
the neighborhoods to offer after school
programs and many other areas of support
