"ONCE SHE STOPPED RUSHING
THROUGH LIFE, SHE WAS AMAZED
HOW MUCH MORE LIFE SHE HAD
TIME FOR"

"TIME HAS A WONDERFUL
WAY OF SHOWING US
WHAT REALLY MATTERS"

*twins

*Before things got really crazy....
Gran Mum drove down from
N.C. to be with us!!!
Faith always jumps at a chance to bake...
especially with Gran Mum!

One night after work I walked in the
door to this....3 dressed up cutie pies
ready to serve us a fancy meal!
Gran Mum did all the cooking...
they had the dining room table set
with china and crystal...
Milla seated us....
Faith took our order...
they all served our meal...
Milla and Faith each sang
a song....
(Milla sang:
"Tonight You Belong to Me"
Faith sang:
"Birds of a Feather")
...and afterwards Gran Mum
insisted that we sit down and relax
while she did the dishes!!!!

The girls asked if they could sleep in them...
Brandon said YES thinking they wouldn't
stay out there in the dark all by themselves...

But, they did! They were still out there
at 11:30pm....falling asleep...I was laying in
bed debating going out there to get them
....when all of the
sudden we heard little feet running as fast
as they could up the back porch steps...

The sprinklers came on and got
them soaked!! It was hilarious!!
Sister bonding moment for sure!
They changed clothes and got in their beds!

Cole is SIX

COLE HUNTER CRIM is 6 YEARS OLD!!!
He is GROWING UP!

He had a "Sports" Birthday party planned with
his friends from his class and a couple other
best buddies....we had to cancel...and he said
"at least I get to celebrate with my family"! :)
He wanted to jump on the trampoline,
do water balloons, and play all the sports
to celebrate...so we did!

Cole wakes up wanting to shoot hoops or
throw the football! He is strong, funny,
athletic, kind, a gentleman, loyal, easy going,
and really good at math! He LOVES dogs....and
still talks about Hank that he misses so much
every single day!

He requested cookie cake!

During the quarantine he had to settle
for a homemade cookie cake....
he so sweetly looked at this and said,
"Mom, what do the real kind of cookie cakes
look like?" :)

Bday water balloon toss!

The Giffords made a "6 foot away" drop
off stop....they brought Cole a DQ drive through
gift card to treat the whole family to an
ice cream  party!

Blizzards brighten the day!!

Dude Perfect Football!

Cole made the menu for the day...
lunch called for a jelly sandwich (he
is allergic to PB), grapes, and chips!

Goodbye 5!
Hello 6!!!!

Coronavirus-Covid-19-Quarantine

We started hearing about the coronavirus....
It started in Wuhan, China in a market.
*Then, other countries started to see cases
(It got really bad in Italy)
*End of Feb the US had its first fatality
*March 13 President
Trump declared a national emergency.
*March 13th school was cancelled and set for
home "online learning" for the week of
March 16th-20....then is was extended until
after spring break....
*The Number of cases continued to rise
New York was hit hard.
There was a shortage of
masks, other PPE, and
ventilators.  Hospitals were
running out of rooms/space.
*April 1st...they officially said that we won't be
going back to school this school year....
we will continue online learning at home.
*Unemployment rates on the rise
*Stores are (most of the time) sold
out of toilet paper, paper towels,
hand sanitizer, and Lysol wipes.
*Patients in the hospital can't have visitors,
Parents can't visit newborns in the NICU,
Nursing home residents can't have visitors.
.....In the midst of all the heartache and
struggle around the world people
are seeing some silver linings...
we are getting the privilege of discovering
the gift of TIME...
quality TIME and
TIME to do all the things
we never have TIME to do
